In 2016 the EQ-FIN Operations team embarked on an ambitious project. The intended outcome of this would entail our entire company working towards being an environmentally friendly business. We asked ourselves many questions.

The most important was….. How could we be a company that looked after your family’s needs and well-being if we did not look after our precious EARTH?

And how could we actually be true to our purpose statement if we did not properly look at SECURING YOUR FUTURE, your family’s future and the future of your legacy?

We have looked at many methods and structures to educate and involve our employees and financial advisers around being more environmentally conscious. The reality is that now more than ever we need to make changes to ensure the survival of our planet.

Our Operations Team has had the arduous task of building proper protocol into the business to ensure this project’s longevity. May 2017 saw us launch the first phase of our recycling strategy. Recycling is a pivotal point in ensuring we reduce wastage and thus limit the damage on the environment and ultimately our carbon footprint.

The timeless slogan is “Recycle – Reduce – Reuse” and we are confident that with our entire business and affiliates involved, we too can make a broader mark on being environmentally aware.
